Marjan Tofigh, O.D.
Dr. Marjan Tofigh is an ocular disease residency trained optometrist, with an emphasis on glaucoma and retina, from the Baltimore VA medical Center in Maryland. She treats and manages a wide range of eye conditions.
She received both her Bachelor and Master of Science degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and then went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. While earning her doctorate, she completed multiple externships at Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia PA, Corneal Disease and Specialty Contact Lens at Fenway Health Center in Boston MA, and Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy at the Eye Institute PA. |
During residency at the Baltimore VA and various rotations at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute, she gained additional experience in primary care optometry including evaluation of cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and ocular surface disease such as dry eye.
Dr. Tofigh cares deeply for each patient she is honored to serve. She has been on a couple of medical mission trips to Haiti and Pakistan.

Outside of the office, Dr. Tofigh enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Literature and poetry, strolling through museums, good films and meaningful conversations, biking, photography, nature and traveling are her medicine.
